Ai wei wei – political artist

He is political, conceptual art and performing artist which also can be paraphrase to excessivism artist. He had made two piece of artwork that related to Chinese politics.

it is sure that one thing, the tone is clearly described is heavy, and solemn as most of government-criticizing artist do. he was in USA (from 1981 to 1993), and he starts to become human right protester after he came back from USA to People`s republic of China. He has been researching corruption of Chinese government (general Chinese Government and provincial government of China).

This artist is inspiring not only because he is just a good artist, but because he is rebelling to China inside of China, bearing risks to be constrained

The first artwork is dropping Han`s urn. Because Han dynasty is classified as one of the periods when China had lots of culture development and urn is main artifact that represent culture. By this performance, he wants to show how communist party suppress ancient culture.
